Fadzi Whande is a Diversity Consultant with CommunityWest. Over the years, she has held various community development roles aimed at reducing the impact and effect of HIV/AIDS, financial literacy, unemployment and social disadvantage.
Fadzi currently serves on the board of Mirrabooka High School; UN Women Perth International Women’s Day Committee, Carers Advisory Council and is a past board member for Women Aglow.
In 2013 she was appointed a People of Australia Ambassador by the Federal Minister for Multicultural Interests and in 2014 awarded the Community Ambassador Award by the Celebration of African Australian Committee.
Fadzi has recently been selected as a member delegate by UN Women Australia to attend the 59th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) at the United Nations headquarters in New York.
Fadzi completed the Graduate Certificate in Social Impact at the University of Western Australia where she is also due to complete her Master in Business Administration.
